Being a Seattle native Marie-Anne is delighted to have settled on San Juan Island with Kevin, making this her home, and she is genuinely excited to bring Olive's Beestro to life for the community.
Marie-Anne's culinary and hospitality career spans both local and internationally. A motivated, high-energy professional, she brings more than 25 years of experience across the industry, having served as an Executive Chef, Director of Dining and Culinary Services, Super-Yacht Chef, Executive Pastry Chef, and General Manager for leading resorts.
Classically trained in French cuisine under world-renowned Master Chef Roland Henin, Marie-Anne learned early the importance of pairing passion with unwavering dedication. She thrives in deadline-driven environments where precision, creativity, and meticulous attention to detail are essential.
Driven by a genuine love for every facet of the culinary and hospitality world, she finds her greatest reward in elevating experiences—helping guests, clients, and teams get the most from their environment and every moment they share within it.
